This is where a language is learnt. Much more than in the classroom. You speak with natives and you don’t have to be nervous because they are in the same situation.

Hi! Hallo! Hola! Óla! Ciao! Hej! I just moved to Dublin and started to learn Portuguese here. The Language Exchange is a great way to practice with native speakers what I learned in class. No matter if you are a complete beginner or a advanced speaker, it’s the perfect place to do the first/next steps and improve from week to week. Don’t be afraid to come alone, you’ll make new friends easily and see more and more familiar faces the more meetings you join. It’s a nice mix of people from different countries, of different age, with interesting backgrounds, all connected by the wish to practice languages and help each others.

Some of my students can’t get enough and are always rushing off after lessons to practise the English they have just learnt at the Language Exchange. It gets a big thumbs up from me for helping students get used to spoken English outside of the classroom.

I am really enjoying to practice my English at Language Exchange in Dtwo on Mondays and Turks Head on Thursdays. It’s very fun and a good opportunity to meet new people!

Language Exchange Ireland gives you a great opportunity to learn and improve the language you are learning. It is very flexible as it accommodates many different languages, not just the most globally spoken ones. Every time I go there, I meet new faces from diverse cultures and ethnicities which I really enjoy. Language Exchange Ireland has really helped me with my Spanish and I’m sure for anyone who makes it a habitual, the result will be likewise. So for me, I can’t give it enough praise!

I really enjoyed my night at Language Exchange in Dtwo. Great meeting new people & getting to practice my Spanish. Looking forward to going back again!
